Media Purna Polri_Jakarta – In the context of 30 years of service, graduates of the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1990 or the Dhira Brata Battalion provided assistance in the form of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This assistance was delivered directly by Dirbinpotmas Korbinmas Barhakam National Police
Brigjen Edy Mubowo at the TNCC Building, Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Monday (27/4).

Edy said, to help prevent and handle the Covid-19 outbreak, this assistance was in the form of 200 complete PPE sets for Brimob Hospital and Setukpa Sukabumi Hospital.

“PPE assistance and of course these items will be very useful for security officers when helping deal with Covid-19 patients,” Edy said in his statement on Monday (4/27).

This assistance, continued Edy, was a form of concern over the scarcity of medical standard personal protective equipment in several hospitals. Especially at this time medical personnel really need personal protective equipment to prevent transmission of the virus when handling patients.

“It is also a form of our support for medical personnel who are struggling to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak,” concluded Edy.

The activity was commanded by Komjen Pol Firli Bahuri as chairman of the 1990 class of alumni or Battalion Dhira Brata.(team)
